ATAR Language Courses
About our ATAR Courses
For Year 11 and 12 students, we offer tutoring in the following courses:
- ATAR Japanese as a Second Language
- ATAR Chinese
We design our courses at 3E learning to fit the needs of each student.
Student Progress
Throughout the year, we will give students plenty of opportunities to demonstrate their understanding of the course material in examination conditions and homework exercises. We will use them to provide feedback to students and parents and track how students are making progress against the course syllabuses.
Year 12 courses
Year 12 ATAR Japanese
Throughout the Year 12 course, topics covered include:

- Money and Part-time Jobs
Semester 2:
- This Year and Beyond
- Youth Events and Pathways
- Future Plans
The examination assesses students' listening, reading, writing and oral skills for Japanese. Students need to demonstrate their knowledge of grammars and vocabularies covered in this course, and be familiar with writing formats that frequently appear in WACE.

Semester 2:

- Healthy Lifestyle
Students need to demonstrate their language skills through listening, reading, writing and oral assessments. They are required to fully understand the grammars and vocabularies covered in unit 1 & 2, and be able to apply them in the context of the topics discussed. It is also important that students become familiar with examination styles to prepare themselves for Year 12.
