For Year 11 and 12 students, we offer tutoring in the following courses:
Throughout the year, we will give students plenty of opportunities to demonstrate their understanding of the course material in examination conditions and homework exercises. We will use them to provide feedback to students and parents and track how students are making progress against the course syllabuses.
Throughout the Year 12 course, topics covered include:

Examination questions focus on the application of chemical models and principles to comprehensively and consistently explain complex phenomena. Students should be able to accurately apply scientific knowledge to explain, in detail, unfamiliar contexts or examples and support responses with a range of appropriate example, diagrams or structures. Throughout the Year 12 course, topics covered include:

Examination questions require students to apply models and scientific principles to comprehensively explain and link complex systems and processes. Students are required to support responses with a range of appropriate examples Describes complex relationships between concepts using appropriate terminology and conventions.
This course has a high expectation in student's mathematics ability. Students should also be able to consistently select and manipulate equations to solve complex problems, provide logically sequenced working and expresses answers using correct units and significant figures. (SCSA, 2020)

Examinations at this stage focus more on question interpretation and data collection. Students are required to apply their knowledges and provide logical reasoning for their answers. Scientific inquiry skills continue to be assessed, especially the ability to draw accurate diagrams and extracting key data. (SCSA, 2020)
